    These photos are from Accession Chapter No. 96 Order of the Eastern Star Accession Chapter is located in Melfort, Saskatchewan, "City of Northern Lights." Our meetings are held from the Melfort Masonic Lodge 201 Crawford Ave. East.

    This first photo is 2011 Peace Gardens Pilgrimage-- Accession Chapters own, Sister Wilma McKee, AGC, along with a number of other Saskatchewan Star members attended the 2011 Peace Gardens Pilgrimage, lead by our Worthy Grand Matron Sister Mary Heskett and Worthy Grand Patron Brother Gerald Busch. Sister Wilma says it was a wonderful weekend. A special thanks goes out to Sister Bev Otsuka, P.G.M. for the photos.




    These next photos is of the 75th Anniversary Celebrations photo 2,3,4 On Saturday, September 10, 2011, about 80 people from across Saskatchewan, even from Calgary Alberta, joined the members of Accession Chapter to celebrate our 75th Anniversary. A delicious roast beef supper was served, followed by a program of greetings, music and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who came great distances, to join with us in this milestone. We look forward to the next 75 years.







    Photo 5 is Special Visitors to Accession Chapter where we welcomed two special visitors to our September meeting. Sister Clara and Brother Roy Dunlop of Ruth Chapter No. 22 in Saanichton, British Columbia attended. It was a very special visit for Accession Chapter, as Sister Clara's mother, Frances Elliot, was Accession Chapter's third Worthy Matron. We hope they come again soon!




    6-10 Photos were of Accession Chapter held our annual fall tea Saturday, September 24, 2011 from the Melfort United Church Christian Education Centre. About 84 people attended throughout the afternoon. Our guests enjoyed coffee or tea, a selection of sandwiches and sweets. The bake table was well received and the parade of choices table offered something to everyone. The theme of the tea was an old fashioned tea. The sisters of the Chapter wore clothes from the days of their grandmothers along with hats. The winner of the grand prize, a handmade quilt, was Mrs. Jean Bennett of Melfort, SK.






    This is the newly installed Officers for 2011-2012 for Blountsville Chapter 389, Blountsville, Alabama. Their Worthy Matron this year is Sister Sara Roberts, Past Grand Matron, state of Alabama.

    This is the newly installed TMRC Chapter (minus 4 members).






    This is the installation of a dear friend, Brother Tom Jacobs, Worshipful Master of Negley Lodge #565 F.&A.M. in Negley, Ohio.
    The Brothers look so nice & I understand Tom's beautiful wife Shirley and her OES ladies did a wonderful job on the delicious food. Our OES ladies are known for being great cooks & stepping up and helping our Brethern!

    Kenlyn did a great job as chairman planning and decorating,with great help from Judy & Cindy. etc...There were 64 present,.. The Hawaiian dancers were adorable.
    Chapter with most represented was Gainesville, Lewisville second., Tulu had been OES the longest and Julie from Denton was the newest member.All chapters from our section were represented.
